R.L. Duffy High School Nearing Completion

At the 24th Street/Jefferson Light Rail Station
I walked around the school yesterday and grabbed some photos of the current status of the school. The holiday weekend had stopped construction of the buildings, but evidence was all around that the outside was nearing completion. The parking lot was essentially striped and sealed, the sidewalks around the building were completed and swept, and some of the landscaping was planted.
Accoring to the school, the Duffy High School is one of 5 Career Success High Schools in the Valley. It is a Charter School and in the 10th year of operations. The objective is to educate 14-21 year -olds who want and need a ‘serious’ education.
