Cancer Survivor Parks in Phoenix is on Light Rail (1st Street and McDowell)

The Park, also known as the Richard and Annette Bloch Park, is one of about 24 parks with the same name throughout the United States and Canada.

Cancer Survivors Parks promote survivorship and provide common sense information that will guide and support the patient through his or her cancer journey. It has been reported and estimated that 10 million Americans have been diagnosed with cancer, and 5 million have been considered cured. Cancer is considered as the most curable of all chronic diseases. There are treatments for every kind of cancer.

The network and system of Cancer Survivor Parks is set up as a positive effort to help demonstrate that it is possible to beat and defeat cancer.

Visit the park sometime; it is just to the North of the Phoenix Main Library on Central Avenue at North 1st Street and McDowell.
